  1. Wash and soak rice, little millets and moong daal overnight.
  2. Grind them with green chilli and ginger. Prepare a smooth batter.
  3. Add salt, All the chopped vegetables- onion, capsicum, carrot and green coriander and Eno to it. Mix properly.
  4. Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a small pan. Put mustard seeds in it,let them crackle, now add curry leaves. Stir and pour in the batter.
  5. Grease appe pan(a special pan to make appe). Pour batter in each cavity and cover with the lid.
  6. Cook them from both sides till golden brown and crisp.

  8. Serve these cut, fluffy and delicious paniyarams with coconut chutney. You can use tomato chutney or mint chutney too but it tastes best with coconut chutney.
