- 250 Gm Rice
- 12 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup spring onion (white Part)
- 3 green chillies
- 3 carrot (medium size)
- 1 big capsicum (cubes)
- 1/2 small cabbage (julienne cut)
- 1 small cup peas
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1/2 cup spring onion (green part)
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 4 tbsp soya sauce
- 2 tbsp chilli sauce
- 1 cube chicken stoke
- Salt according to rice
- Water to cook rice
Instructions to make to make Chinese vegetable rice (Chinese pulao)
- Collect all ingredients.

- Fry chopped garlic in oil.
- Add spring onion (white part), fry it.
- Add potatoes.
- Add green chillies, cover & leave potatoes to half cooked.
- Add carrot, cook it on high flame.
- Add 1 chicken stock cube.
- Add white pepper.
- Add black pepper.
- Add Red chilli flakes.
- Add mustard powder.
- Add soya sauce.
- Add chilli sauce.
- Add cabbage, mix it well (bhonify).
- Add boiled peas, mix it.
- Add water according to rice.
- Add salt according to rice.

- Bring it to boil, at this stage in boiling water add spring onion & capsicum.
- Add soaked rice, mix it & cook it.
- When water almost dries out, put the flame low cover it let the rice to simmer.
- After ten mins open lid mix rice, sprinkle spring onion & again cover it with lid for more simmer.
